Oxidation number of all elements in periodic table

Oxidation Number of all Elements in Periodic Table

In the below table we mention common oxidation number of all the elements in periodic table. Some compounds have multiple oxidation states or oxidation numbers depending on the chemical compound they form.

Please note that these are common oxidation numbers, as an element shows more than one oxidation state depending on the chemistry of compound, molecular structure they form.

Please also note that the elements beyond element 118 (Oganesson) in periodic table of elements are highly unstable with extremely short lifespans; so, these elements (beyond 118) oxidation state is not confirmed with well-defined oxidation states.

Given below are all elements of the modern periodic table with element name, element symbol, atomic number and common oxidation state.
